Blog 5 - Topic A: A food i really like.
Hi everyone, today I'm going to talk about my favorite food.
In my whole life I have always preferred vegetables and fruits above anything else. In fact, when I
was a child and my parents asked me about what I wanted to eat as a snack, most of the time I
replied pickle or any fruit available, because I had never been a fanatic of candies as they always
make me wounds in my mouth. If I have to choose one specific food in particular, I would say that
the Chapsui of vegetables is my favorite, because I really like vegetables and this plate has a
special sauce that I really enjoy: oyster sauce. The flavor of this plate is sweet and mixed with the
salt taste of the soy sauce makes it a unique plate, I always eat a lot when my family make this dish!
The preparation in general is easy, you just need to cut thin all the vegetables that you want in
the Chapsui, put all of them in a big pan or wong, cook them till they are light brown, then put soy
and oyster sauce in the amounts that you want (I prefer to put more oyster than soy sauce), finally
you can add some cut garlic.
Although we like this plate so much, we don’t eat it regularly because it has a lot of sodium, which
makes it not really healthy, even though it has a lot of vegetables. Also, even if the preparation is easy,
It takes a lot of time to cut and cook all the things together, so we just make this dish for
special occasions or when we have too much vegetables and need to reduce the amount
quickly.
